The Peninsula Public Library offers its patrons free passes to the following museums.

One-Day Pass. This pass admits a family of four. This pass will be valid only for one day: the date of visit. 

One-Day Pass. Two passes for two adults.  Children under 10 are not permitted.

The Guggenheim Museums and Foundation
Four-Day Pass. Free admission for up to four adults or students, plus half-priced admission for up to two additional guests.  Children under 12 are always free! 10% savings on-site and online at the Guggenheim Store and a full 25% discount during biannual Member Shopping Weeks.

One-Day Pass. This pass admits six people for free. Go through the member line with this pass. This pass will be valid only for one day: the date of visit. Discounts for library patrons. This pass now includes free admission to the Space Shuttle Pavilion!

Four-Day Pass. Two adults are admitted free of charge with pass. Children under 18 years of age are free.
Discounts at the Shops and Russ & Daughters at the Jewish Museum. Free admission on Saturdays.

Four-Day Pass. This pass admits four people for free. No other privileges, discounts, licenses or benefits are applicable
with pass. The Pass is not valid for complimentary or discounted admission to theater performances, workshops, or special events. Other restrictions may apply.


Four-Day Pass. This pass admits five people for free. Discounts at Cafe 2, Terrace 5, & Moma Stores. Please ask

Four-Day Pass. Admits 2 adults and six children for free. Free parking, free coat check, free access to Science Playground, free access to Rocket Park Mini Golf, discounted tickets to 3D Theater.

One-Day Pass, valid only on day of visit. Each pass admits two adults and two children free.

Old Westbury Gardens
One-Day Pass. This pass admits two adults and their children free. Limited hours from November to April. This pass is valid only for one day: the date of visit.

One-Day Pass. This pass admits two adults and children under the age of eighteen. This pass will be valid only for one day: the date of visit. Discount at Museum Gift Shop.

How do I reserve a pass?
It is recommended you reserve a pass in advance of your visit if possible. Reservations can be made thirty days ahead of your planned visit. Passes can be reserved online by clicking here,
in-person or by calling the Reference Desk at 516-239-3262 ext. 205.

How long do I have the pass?
Passes may be borrowed for four days, which includes the day it is picked up and the day it is returned. Passes must be reserved for date of pickup or the pass might not be available.
As of October 1st, 2017, The Firefighters Museum, The Frick Museum, Garvies Point, Intrepid Museum, the New York Transit Museum, Old Westbury Gardens and The Oyster Bay Railroad Museum do not adhere to the four day rule. They can be reserved for only one day: the date of of your planned visit. Please call the Library for details.

How do I pick up my pass?
Four-day passes are picked up from the Reference Desk on the second floor and then must be checked out at the Circulation Desk. One-day passes can be printed at home or we can print out and email a pass to you.

How many passes may I reserve at one time?
Patrons may have one reservation to one museum per family household every thirty days.

How do I return the pass?
Passes are to be returned to the circulation desk by one hour before the library closes on the due date. They cannot be put in the Library drop box. The one-day passes do not have to be returned and can be destroyed after use.

What if I lose or damage the pass?
If a pass is late, overdue charges are $5 per day. In addition if the lateness causes another patron to not be able to pick up a pass the price of admission will be added to the fines. If lost, there is a non-refundable charge of $25. A pass will be considered overdue until it is reported missing so alert the library right away.

Library passes frequently are not valid for entrance to museum special events and fundraisers.It is the responsibility of the user to telephone or check the Museum website in advance for information on hours of operation, parking and/or directions.
